Le Petit Comité

Conceived in Boston in 2001 by the vibraphonist André Juarez, the band has a sophisticated sound as its major quality. At the same time, the music is very popular and easily understandable by large audiences. The repertoire is formed by standards and own compositions. Although counting on a strong swing feel and a contagious blend of rhythms and styles (funk, acid jazz, progressive rock and MPB), it is not danceable music.

The band regularly performs at theatres, schools, churches, night clubs, TV and radio broadcasting programs, and other public places.
