ANDRÉ JUAREZ QUARTETO

Created on 1997, the band mixes different rhythms and styles –  MPB, salsa, blues and jazz. Counting on a strong swing feel as its identification mark, the main purpose of the group is to bring high level music to the most different audiences – night clubs, theatres, schools and all sort of public places.

The strong and diversified musical education of the band members gives to the ensemble a very solid and professional sound.  Both for using an instrument almost unknown by Brazilian audiences – the vibraphone - and for the original conception of the arrangements, the band has a very particular identity.

The repertoire, formed by own compositions and standards, offers pleasant music to an audience without age restrictions.

Due to the fact that the musicians who work in the Quartet have a very intense professional life, the leader André is supposed to choose band members according to each performance.  The artists who most regularly perform with the group are: Hildebrando Brasil and Giba Estebes (piano); Frank Herzberg and Cassiano Nogara (bass); and Ricardo Mosca and Zé Eduardo Nazário (drums).
