AJAC 4

Created in 2004 by the vibraphonist André Juarez and the blues-man André Christóvam, the band has a well defined goal: to research deeply and perform the most distinct kinds of blues.

Already quite experienced in the field, André Christóvam brings the charisma, the life grasping, the hoarse voice, the poisoned guitar, and the whole prestige and maturity achieved through his successful career.

On the other hand, André Juarez adds to the group the velvet and intimate sonority of his instrument – the vibraphone – as well as the musical idioms used in jazz and orchestral music.

On the rhythmic session, the band counts on the friendly help of two great musicians: the swing and enthusiasm of the drummer Caio Dohiony, and the sureness and precision of the bassist Rodrigo Jofré.

Newly-born, the band already has an intense activity within São Paulo musical life. Very welcome wherever it performs, the AJAC 4 is growing an audience without age restrictions and looking for new spaces to show its work.
